California Senate Bill 718

Justin liaised with San Francisco Baykeeper as it pursued passage of Senate Bill 718 to address non-petroleum based oil spills in the San Francisco Bay.  He communicated with San Francisco Baykeeper and the bill’s co-sponsor Audubon California throughout the process.

Landscape Stakeholder Advisory Group

Justin worked as assistant facilitator with the Center for Collaborative Policy to provide support to the California Department of Water Resources for a series of meetings related to the Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (Executive Order B-29-15) from April 2015.  He provided logistics and technological support for setup to staff and project managers, and prepared draft facilitation agendas and plans.  Justin was responsible for note-taking and preparation of meeting summaries.

Sustainable Groundwater Management Act

Justin worked as assistant facilitator with the Center for Collaborative Policy to provide support to the project manager for implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act in Kern County, California.  He was responsible for stakeholder outreach and communication to coordinate interview logistics, and he compiled and managed the stakeholder master list.  Justin also tracked and recorded internal team action items, and was responsible for note-taking and preparation of meeting summaries.

Sustainable Groundwater Management Act - Best Management Practices

Justin worked as assistant facilitator with the Center for Collaborative Policy to provide support to the California Department of Water Resources for a series of statewide public meetings for California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act Best Management Practices.  He was responsible for note-taking and preparation of meeting summaries.
